Fellow [F SAE-A] |
Members who have experience in leading major engineering developments or activities, or have had an extensive career in positions of responsibility in engineering. |

Member [M SAE-A] |
Professionals in the mobility industry, who have been practicing for a minimum of 5 years (qualification dependent). |

Associate Member [AM SAE-A] |
New engineers or technicians holding an engineering, science or mechanical degree or diploma. |

Associate Member - T [AM SAE-A] |
Trade and technically qualified professionals with TAFE or equivalent certificate. |

Student [S SAE-A] |
Applicants who are engaged in full time courses of study, including apprenticeships. Required for students wishing to compete in the Formula SAE-A. |

Affiliate [AFF SAE-A] Ungraded Membership |
Persons engaged or interested in mobility engineering, who do not wish to be graded. Affiliates are unable to vote, be involved in standards development, or nominated for chair or treasurer in any division. |
